The 2013 Welldrill Munda Biddi Epic 1000 event saw 26 riders complete the first supported ride along the newly finished Munda Biddi Trail from Albany to Perth. The event was a huge success, was celebrated by communities along the trail, engaged the interest of local, national and international press, and gave the Epic Riders one of the biggest challenges, and achievements, of their lives.
Building on the success of the inaugural Epic 1000 event, the Munda Biddi Trail Foundation plans to run a similar event from 13 April to 04 May 2014. This Epic challenge will take cyclists on a fully supported ride from Mundaring in the Perth Hills over 1000km south to Albany.
