New maps were released on July 5, 2004.
Old
maps are still valid, but there are many new features on the new
Map 1 and 2. Some useful additions can be downloaded here.
Bridging
Map
The
old Map 2 did not indicate the trail route past the town of
Dwellingup. Print off the
bridging map or copy the alignment onto your old map. The new
Map 3 begins 16km south of Dwellingup at the old Nanga townsite.

Touring
Routes
Alternative
routes have been established to make the journey easier for
beginner cyclists and touring cyclists with panniers, bypassing
some of the more difficult sections of the Munda Biddi Trail.
Touring routes are a combination of roads and forest tracks, and
are shown in green on the new maps.

Temporary
Trail Realignment
The Forest
Products Commission is currently undertaking timber harvesting
between Stromlo Rd and the Harvey River (Map 3). For the safety of
cyclists, the trail will be temporarily re-aligned starting Monday
8th November. The realignment is 8km long and will be marked using
the standard Munda Biddi markers. Signage, including a map of the
realignment, will be placed at either end of the realignment. Click
