The Munda Biddi Trail Foundation is proud to have developed important partnerships with a range of organisations and businesses.
These partnerships play a vital role in supporting our work in providing services to cyclists and maintaining the Trail in world-class condition.
From the funding of our volunteer maintenance program and the provision of office space, to providing wilderness first aid training and incentive prizes for members and volunteers, each partner makes a valuable contribution to the sustainability of the Foundation. The support of these organisations also means that 100% of all donations are used on the Trail and not on administration.
For more information on partnering with the Munda Biddi Trail Foundation please contact the Foundation.
Thank you to our Corporate Sponsors and Commercial Partners for their support.

A key contributor to the Australian economy for over 50 years, Alcoa plays an important role in supporting the communities in which we operate, and beyond. We support partnerships and initiatives that help build stronger communities for the future. Alcoa partners with local communities on a wide range of community programs, projects and events, with a focus on building stronger and more sustainable communities.
Safety is a core value at Alcoa and we aim to work in partnership with the community to reduce injury, enhance wellness and create a safer and healthier future for all. Our partnership with the Munda Biddi Trail certainly achieves this – it encourages people to get out and be active while having fun. It is a project that is accessible to a wide range of people from children to adults, those that like to take things at a leisurely pace through to the keen athletes. Not only does the Trail promote a healthy lifestyle, but it is also an important asset for the communities and towns through which it passes. The Trail brings tourists into the local towns which provides a boost for their economies, therefore making them increasingly sustainable.
In addition to this partnership, Alcoa also provides funding to the Department of Parks and Wildlife Alcoa Forest Enhancement (DECAFE) Program which funds a range of initiatives, including projects in the Northern Jarrah Forest that enhance rapture conservation recreation, landscape or heritage values of the land and engender interest, enthusiasm and support in the community.
The Department of Parks and Wildlife manages 25 million hectares of WA's parks and reserves and is the largest provider of outdoor recreational opportunities in the state.
Whilst DPAW acts as land Manager of the Trail, the Munda Biddi Trail Foundation is recognised as the primary focal point for community-based support and involvement, and has primary responsibility for promoting the Trail to potential cyclists and maintaining the Trail through the volunteer maintenance program.

We are committed to supporting out surrounding communities by combining profitability with social responsibility. We support a number of organisations within the communities we work in, including WaterAid, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, community-based programs via Lions Club Berri and St John ambulance services Agnes Walter, and the State Opera of South Australia. It was natural TRILITY would elect to support the Munda Biddi Trail as it runs though Mundaring, the location of the Mundaring Water Treatment Plant, one of the projects TRILITY, as a part of the Helena Water consortium, has a long-term commitment to.
The plant will be a critical asset and a major source of water for regional Western Australia. The benefits to the community through health, tourism and the economy are the same benefits the Trail offers – a perfect synergy.
South32 Worsley Alumina has been mining, refining and exporting alumina since 1984. Mining takes place near Boddington with bauxite transported by conveyor to the refinery near Collie where it is turned into alumina. WestCycle was announced as the new peak body for cycling in Western Australia by the Minister for Sport and Recreation, Mr Terry Waldron in September 2011.
We embrace the competitive, recreation and transport elements of cycling.
We aspire to be the catalyst for cycling in WA by actively promoting cycling and by creating a framework that allows our member organisations and the broader cycling community to increase their capability to deliver cycling outcomes.
We also want to make WA's roads safer for cycling and your community more cycle friendly. We believe that the collective voice of the WA cycling community will achieve so much more than cycling groups speaking out individually on cycling issues.
